One of the best things about shooting hometown scenics on assignment is getting to stop and enjoy/focus on all those cool views of your city that you too often have to drive right past. Shooting L.A. skyline sunsets from the 3rd St Bridge is a perfect example.
We needed transitional elements for the final episode of Showtime’s Fight Camp 360: Pacquiao vs. Mosley, showing the end of Pacquiao’s training in Los Angeles and the move into fight week in Las Vegas. I spent the evening shooting footage and timelapses from various East L.A. locations, and being reminded that Los Angeles can be strangely beautiful in its own way.
