Alaskan Brewing | Perseverance Ale

Alaskan Brewing Co. is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2011, and commemorating the occasion with the release of their first ever imperial stout: Perseverance Ale. This aptly named beer is a nod both to Alaskan’s history of brewing in the challenging environment of Juneau, Alaska, where all materials must be shipped by sea or air (there are no roads into Juneau), and to Alaska’s Gold Rush roots. We shot much of this video on location at the Perseverance Mine in the foothills behind Juneau, and the rest at the Alaskan Brewery.
